This is a really solid Tanker son and he's an incredible growth bull. For us he checks a lot of boxes. His mother has always been that cow that has a top calf. We flushed her at 10 years old for the first time and this is the only bull we got from the flush (wish we had more), and we are retaining all the heifers. He's definitely worth a look. He had a January 2nd WT of 1235 lbs!
Lead off Turnout son! Moderate BW with big daily gains of 4.11 a day. Very attractive package. Make sure you look him up. He came off the mountain over 900#. His mother raises one of our favorite calves every year. Great PAP (32). He combines excellent structure with impressive muscle shape, making him a standout in any herd. This bull is sure to add value to your breeding program with both performance and phenotype.
The mother to this bull (700N) crosses really well with Vision. This bull had a full brother, two years ago, that ended up being one of our top sellers that year and we think he is on track to be even better. He started the test weighing 854 lbs and is currently gaining 4.64 lbs per day.
Here is an AI sired son of LLW Card True North G71 and his mother is a good F50 daughter. He might not be a sure thing heifer bull, but all the data indicates his calves should have moderate birth weights and he has a nice blaze face. He was 81 lbs at birth and is currently gaining 4.98 lbs a day.
This Bull is gaining over 4.5lbs a day and he has the highest DNA TI in the pen. Moderate BW and his DNA says he has performance to burn. Don’t let this one go without a hard look. This guy grabs your attention. He is big, stout, and fancy. He's another Vision son from a Boise mother and he has always been a standout. He's not the most docile in the pen, but he may work for you. He started the test at 880 lbs.
This Vision son is really good. He has gained well since he's been home from our summer range. He was born at 85 lbs and his start weight at the test was 834 lbs (great considering we had one of the harshest summers I can remember) and is gaining 4.26 lbs per day on test. He also has great birth data and a good PAP score (36).
Solid MI and Elite TI. Homo black and polled. Phenotypically correct and just plain fancy. His dam is a double bred LRS Elevate heifer. He has a moderate BW. He is powerful from every angle. This color is extremely popular at Lewis Farms. Ken says they are hard to make. Where are you going to find one? Let alone one of this quality. Max out the heterosis and make calves that show the cross. Only about 20% will shown the gene in my experience. Out of the ones that do not many will be this much. They will perform and get you paid. Lots of grow, thickness and style.
This guy has some loud color but check out the quality. He won't just catch your eye but will stand out for all the right reasons. Check out his elite TI of 7.20! He is also gaining 4.28# a day. He is all about getting you paid. His Dam is an F50 daughter. You will always know which bull is yours on the mountain and his calves will show the cross. Blakely named him Sir Milkington III and he has been one of their family's favorites all year. Don't be scared to get this one, your solid color cows will tone him down.
This Bull’s Dam is a Tanker, he has sired some of the greatest cows ever and his Grand Dam is an Upgrade. He is s Bandit son that has the look. He is the second highest Igenity Production Index in the sale. Gaining 4.25# a day. He truly has it all, with a balanced phenotype and an exceptional disposition that make him stand out. If you're looking for consistent results and long-term herd improvement you will appreciate his impressive lineage and performance traits.
This is a super good Vision son back to a great young cow from our Henrietta cow line. She has a little more frame and crossed really well with Vision. The Igenity (DNA) MI was in the top 7 for bulls tested and his birth data suggests his calves having lower birth weights and good growth. He started test at 824 lbs.
This bull's mother (Erianna 83) was an embryo acquired from a cow (8T2) at the Denver stock show sale some years back that we purchased 1/2 interest in, flushed for a year, then resold back in Denver. She has found her calling in the Simm-angus portion of our program and is doing well there. This bull was 852 lbs at test start and is gaining 4.2 lbs per day.
This is a good WS All-Around son. His DNA markers came back top of the chart for WWT, ADG, yearling WT and hot carcass WT. He is out of one of our first Vision daughters and she did an amazing job with this one. The vision daughters have continued to impress us, and might even be better than the bulls. He had an 840 lb 11/10 WT.
Both of the WS All Around sons we have this year are out of first calf heifers and knocked it out of the park on the Igenity Indexes. Bold Venture is a new bull we tried this year, he is a super powerful son of Pilgrim that carries all the mass and depth of body you can ask for along with a massive amount of bone and foot size. Unique in his build, he will add length and width of the top, along with a huge hip. This bull's mother #752 is a 9 year old Charlo daughter that has been a producer of some incredibly thick cattle that we appreciate. According to DNA results this guy is the top of the list for the Igenity MI at 6.85 and he is currently gaining 4.47 lbs per day,
This Bull has an Elite TI and MI with a moderate BW and great performance. He really is a dandy, but he is a bit trotty. He is not mean, but he is not real quiet. If you work them in bunches or on horses you will love him. He will climb the mountain and make the calves that smash the scale.
This bull boasts a low birth weight, impressive TI, and a strong MI. Suitable for both heifers and cows, he has the kind of structure we admire—broad-backed, well-muscled through the hip, and shows excellent growth. He returned from the mountain weighing 850 pounds. His pedigree includes notable sires like Upgrade, Boise, and Black Joker on the maternal side.
This Bull’s Dam is a Yardley High Regard cow, and she did well here. He is a very good Drive son with an Elite TI, REA and HCW. This cow family has some of the best looking cows and has a big time influence on our herd. Their genetics consistently produce calves with strong structure, impressive muscle development, and excellent disposition. These qualities make them valuable contributors to operations.
A nice showman son that started test at 808 pounds after summering on diamond. The mother of this bull is a 2016 model that is still in great shape and has always been a producer. The showman sire is really good footed and passes that to his calves. This bull has the look, size, and longevity to make the right kind.
This Stellarator son is pretty unique. He's in the Top 1% for $ maternal and top 15% for $ weaning. His PAP test score and EPD's would indicate him being very good at high altitude.
